Digital voice narration (AI narration) FAQs

To get started, download the LPF version of the audiobook you created on Google Play Books or ElevenLabs. DO NOT modify the audio files in any way or they will not be accepted by our platform.

From there, you can create a new project in your Voices by INaudio account, and upload or drag and drop your LPF files into the audio tab.

Continue creating your project as usual by adding your metadata, setting your price, and publishing to select retailers that currently accept AI titles.

An LPF is the kind of file provided by ElevenLabs or Google Play Books when you download your digital voice narrated audiobook. This is what you upload into Voices by INaudio.

Note: LPF files generated by Google Play Books on or before November 11, 2023 will not work for publishing on our platform. To fix this simply log in to Google Play Books and re-generate your LPF files.

We currently accept digital voice narrated audiobooks from Google Play Books and ElevenLabs.

You cannot edit the narrator's credit on a digital voice narration title. The names of the digital voice(s) you used are embedded in the LPF file you upload, so we will automatically set this credit. We will also automatically prepend the book description informing the listener that this title was created using a digital voice narration.

Digital voice narrated audiobooks are currently being accepted by select retail partners.

We currently only accept digital voice narrated audiobooks from Google Play Books or ElevenLabs.
